ZABAVA is a perennial mint plant growing 50–70 cm tall with medium-sized oval leaves, serrated edges, and a green coloration with a weak anthocyanic tone. The bush is branched and well-leafed, making it attractive as a decorative element in pots and containers.
This mint is highly resilient to various conditions: it loves light and moisture but can grow in moderate shade on various soils if they are sufficiently moist. Best results are achieved on light loamy, loam, and sandy soils with a good subsoil; growth slows down in heavy, acidic, or waterlogged soils. The plant is resistant to short-term drought due to a powerful rhizome and is a cold-hardy variety.
Mint has medicinal properties: disinfecting action, support for digestion, and help with asthma and neurasthenia. Teas, refreshing drinks are made from it, and it is used in cooking. When growing in pots, it is recommended to use a container with a volume of not less than 便会 (not specified) to ensure sufficient space for the root system. Care includes regular fertilization, which increases the yield of green mass to 1.4–2.0 kg/m² and improves the aromatic quality of the plant.
