Millet TATARSKOE KRASNOE

Ensuring Consistent Yields in Harsh Conditions

The «Tatarskoe Krasnoe» millet variety is a strategic choice for farmers operating in regions prone to drought. Developed by the Kazan Scientific Center of the RAS, this variety excels in adaptability, maintaining strong agronomic performance under stress while ensuring the high-quality grain required for industrial milling.

Field Application and Agrotechnics

This variety is designed for operations prioritizing consistent volume and risk mitigation. «Tatarskoe Krasnoe» is highly efficient at utilizing early-season soil moisture, which is critical for establishing a robust crop stand before the onset of potential summer heat waves.

• Stress Resistance: Field-proven tolerance to common environmental stressors helps reduce the need for intensive chemical management during the growing season.
• Harvest Efficiency: The uniform maturation of the panicles simplifies the harvest operation, effectively reducing field losses during combine harvesting.
• Marketability: Due to its superior milling characteristics, this grain remains in high demand among processors, ensuring easier market access for the producer.

For many agricultural enterprises, this variety acts as a crucial safety net in crop rotation, reliably filling production gaps when secondary crops fail due to adverse weather patterns.
