Melon Grido F1

Watermelon Grido F1 is a medium-early hybrid of the Ananas type, developed by breeders of the company Clause. This variety is characterized by a short growing period, ranging from 65 to 80 days, enabling harvest within a short timeframe. The plant forms a robust bush with a well-developed leafy canopy and strong vines, promoting vigorous growth even under stressful weather conditions. The hybrid exhibits high adaptability to cultivation methods — it can be sown directly in open ground or through seedlings, and it is tolerant to varying levels of agronomic practices and soil types. The watermelons of Grido F1 are large, weighing from 3.5 to 5 kg, with uniform oval shape and light-brown rind covered by a distinctly visible, medium-thickness light netting. The flesh is tender-yellow, juicy, and highly aromatic, with high sugar content and a slight crunch, giving it unique taste qualities. The seed cavity is compact and clearly defined, facilitating fruit handling. Thanks to its dense rind, the fruits possess excellent market qualities and resistance to damage during transportation. The Grido F1 hybrid exhibits high resistance to diseases, particularly fungal infections dangerous to melon crops. Its concentrated fruit ripening and low rejection rate make this variety attractive for commercial cultivation. Due to its characteristics, watermelon Grido F1 is suitable for both amateur and industrial production, ensuring a stable and high-quality yield even under challenging climatic conditions.
