Watermelon Malachite

The Malachite watermelon variety is a mid-season, long-vining, and drought-resistant variety, distinguished by high yield and excellent taste. The vegetative period from germination to harvest is 75-80 days. The fruits have a shape ranging from round to cylindrical, weighing from 2.4 to 8 kg, with characteristic light green rind and wide dark green stripes. The watermelon flesh is carmine-red with a pinkish hue, granular, tender, very juicy, and sweet, making it ideal for fresh consumption.

The Malachite variety is distinguished by good transportability and storability; fruits retain their marketable qualities for 30-55 days after harvest. It exhibits resistance to diseases such as anthracnose and fusarium, which increases cultivation reliability and crop quality. Thanks to these characteristics, Malachite watermelon is suitable for both home cultivation and open-field plots.

Malachite watermelon seeds are sold in packs of 10 and are intended for collection and hobbyist cultivation. This variety is recommended for cultivation in various regions with a moderate climate, as evidenced by its inclusion in state registries. High yield, excellent taste qualities, and disease resistance make Malachite watermelon a popular choice among gardeners and farmers.
