CHAMPAGNE

Watermelon Champagne is an early-maturing hybrid table watermelon with yellow flesh, developed by specialists from the Dutch company Takii Europe B.V. It matures 73-80 days after planting and is characterized by its round or wide-elliptical fruit shape, weighing between 2.5 and 3.5 kg. The watermelon skin is dark green with light green stripes, and the flesh is bright yellow, tender, and crunchy, giving the fruit an original taste and attractive appearance. Seeds are small and form in moderate quantities.

The plant is powerful and sprawling, with abundant foliage and high growth vigor. Watermelon Champagne has excellent fruit setting and high immunity, especially resistant to major crop diseases, including Fusarium wilt. Thanks to these qualities and high yield with proper agrotechnics, the hybrid is suitable for growing both in open ground and under temporary film covers.
