Description Promin
The 'Promin' raspberry variety is a medium-ripening cultivar developed in 1988 by crossing 'Shlyakhetna' and 'Novokitaivska' varieties. The plants are of medium height, with light green, slightly fringed leaves and thick one-year-old stems with a dirty-brown hue, covered in a strong waxy coating and short, soft thorns. Two-year-old stems are straight and gray, providing good plant resistance to external conditions.

The berries of this variety are large — average weight ranges from 3.7 to 4.9 grams. They are dark red with a slight fuzz, and the flesh has a tender texture with a pleasantly tart-sweet flavor and a good aroma. Due to these qualities, the berries are suitable both for fresh consumption and for technical processing, including making compotes, jams, and jellies.

The 'Promin' variety is characterized by high yield and resistance to various diseases, making it a reliable choice for gardeners. It also demonstrates good cold resistance and drought tolerance, allowing cultivation under various climatic conditions. The plants withstand winter frosts well, and the berries have excellent commercial qualities and are suitable for transport, expanding their application possibilities.
