Description ARISTARCH
The Aristarch onion variety is a mid-season shallot intended for cultivation in a two-year system from sets. This variety is characterized by an elliptical bulb of medium density with a mass of about 61 grams. Dry scales are yellow with a brownish tint, while juicy scales are white. Approximately five bulbs form in one clump, which contributes to high yield. The onion neck is thin, and the taste is semi-sharp, making it universal for various culinary applications.

Before harvesting, the crop fully ripens, ensuring good storage and product quality. The yield of the onion reaches 2.1 kilograms per square meter, which is a good indicator for this type of culture. The variety is recommended for cultivation in personal subsidiary holdings and is adapted to a wide range of climatic conditions, including the Northern, Northwestern, Central, Volga-Vyatka, Central Black Earth, North Caucasian, Middle Volga, Lower Volga, Ural, Western Siberia, Eastern Siberia, and Far East regions.

The originator of the variety is NPO 'GARDEN AND GARDEN'. Due to its characteristics and adaptability, the Aristarch onion is suitable for cultivation in various climatic zones of Russia, ensuring a stable and quality harvest. Its semi-sharp taste and dense structure make it in demand for both fresh consumption and culinary processing.
