Description NUTRIX
Nutrix is an early-maturing variety of blue alfalfa (Medicago sativa L. subsp. sativa), designed for use in agriculture and livestock farming. It is characterized by high dry matter yield, averaging 66.9 ct/ha and reaching a maximum of 162.5 ct/ha, as well as a protein content in dry matter of 11.9%. The variety is distinguished by its resistance to lodging and possesses good agronomic properties, making it in demand for hay, silage, and ensilage production.

Nutrix represents the synergy of two elite alfalfa varieties: 55% Nutrix variety and 45% Galaxy variety. This combination ensures high protein content and increased yield, as well as excellent resistance to diseases such as anthracnose and nematodes. The longevity of the variety is 4 years and more, which allows for efficient use over several seasons.

For successful cultivation of the Nutrix variety, it is recommended to sow it in optimal times—March-April or July-August, while the seeding depth should be 1-1.5 cm. The seeding rate is 2 Preci-bags per hectare, and a mandatory agronomic technique is rolling after sowing. The variety is suitable for soils with acidity pH above 6 and is recommended for cultivation in various regions, including the Central Black Earth Region.
