Alfalfa Alexis

The Alexis lucerne variety is distinguished by its high feed value and is intended for use in areas with a short growing season. It was bred with a focus on nematode resistance, making it particularly valuable for agricultural enterprises, including vegetable farming. Alexis demonstrates outstanding winter hardiness and frost tolerance, allowing for successful cultivation in complex climatic conditions.

This lucerne variety possesses high resistance to diseases such as anthracnose and verticillium wilt, which contributes to stable and high dry matter yield. Alexis ranks among the most productive varieties, achieving performance of around 16.9 tons of dry matter per hectare. In the finished silage, protein content is 19-20%, ensuring high-quality and nutritious feeding of cattle.

Alexis lucerne is optimal for use in fresh-cut form, as well as for ensilage and silage preparation. The variety is suitable for multi-year cultivation over four and more years, making it an economically viable and reliable choice for farmers seeking to ensure stable and high-quality feed raw materials.
