Description Koketka
Coketka is a dwarf blue honeysuckle with a compact bush up to 1.2-1.5 m high. The bush is dense, shoots are brownish-brown, leaves are dark green oval, and flowers are whitish-yellow tubular. The plant is resistant to winter temperature fluctuations and diseases, grows well on loam and sandy-loam soils, preferring moderate moisture.

Coketka fruits are blue, elongated-oval with a rounded base and tip. Average berry weight is 0.81 g, flesh is tender and aromatic, with a sweet-sour taste. Berry bloom is moderate, skin is of medium thickness. Yield reaches up to 2.0 kg per bush, and the variety is partially self-fertile, which facilitates harvest collection.

The variety is suitable for cultivation in a wide climatic zone – from Moscow and St. Petersburg to Vladivostok, the Baltic states, Minsk, and central Ukraine. It is recommended to plant in spring or autumn; the plant is light-loving, frost-resistant, and easily adapts to various soil conditions. Coketka is ideal for berry crops, providing a stable yield and high-quality fruits.
