The "Minusinskaya Sineva" variety is a medium-sized honeysuckle with a spreading crown that quickly gains dense foliage thanks to its sturdy upright shoots. The bushes have medium-thick bark, dark green leaves, and large pale flowers, ensuring good pollination and high yield.
The variety's fruits are ellipsoidal, medium-sized (0.8–1.3 g), rich dark blue color with a waxy bloom. The berries have a sweet-sour taste with a slight bitterness; sugar content is 4.3%, acidity – 2.9%, and vitamin C – 62.4 mg/%. Average berry weight is about 0.84 g. Fruits ripen by mid-June, but asynchronous ripening is observed throughout the season.
"Minusinskaya Sineva" is distinguished by high winter hardiness and drought resistance, as well as unpretentious care: the variety is self-sterile, has low fruit drop, and is not affected by diseases or pests. Yield reaches 1.5 kg per bush (≈ 5 t/ha), making it attractive for both commercial cultivation and garden farms.
