Lettuce Xaroma

Xaroma salad is an early leafy variety of Romaine type, developed by the breeding company Enza Zaden. This variety is characterized by high plasticity and the ability to quickly adapt to various agronomic conditions and soil types. The plant is light-loving, so for successful cultivation in open ground, sunny areas are recommended. Xaroma demonstrates high productivity both in open ground and in greenhouse conditions, where it can be cultivated year-round. The optimal planting period for open ground beds falls between mid-April and early September. The leaves of the salad have a dark green hue with a slight gloss and mild blistering, giving them an attractive appearance and high quality. The rosette size ranges from 18 to 22 cm, making this variety a convenient mini-Romaine for various culinary uses. The variety is resistant to pests and diseases such as aphids, false powdery mildew, and lettuce mosaic, and also features a prolonged period before bolting, extending the harvest window. Xaroma salad seeds are packaged in 1-gram portions, containing 600 to 1000 seeds, which is convenient for various cultivation scales. The variety is suitable for cultivation in different regions due to its resistance and adaptability. Additionally, the variety is certified organic, confirming its ecological safety and quality. Thanks to its characteristics, Xaroma is an excellent choice for farmers and gardeners seeking a stable and high-quality salad harvest throughout the year.
