The 'Nezhenka' lettuce variety is a result of years of professional work by the breeders at Agrofirma Aelita. Developed by experts Natalia Nastenko, Vladimir Kachaynik, and Alexey Kandoba, the variety was designed to balance visual market appeal with exceptional culinary quality. This focus has solidified Nezhenka's reputation as one of the most sought-after leaf lettuce varieties in the regional market.

Agricultural Characteristics and Potential

This variety belongs to the leaf type, forming a neat and compact rosette. The light-green hue of the leaves makes the product highly appealing for grocery store shelves and farmers' markets. Key specifications of Nezhenka include:

• Type: Leaf lettuce.
• Maturity: Early-ripening, allowing for a quick harvest cycle.
• Size: Average rosette mass, optimal for portioned use and pre-packaging.
• Visuals: Delicate texture, light-green foliage.

Application and Market Position

The primary advantage of this variety is its name, which translates to "Tender" or "Delicate," reflecting its culinary properties. The leaves are free from tough fibers, making them ideal for fresh salads, dish garnishing, and as a base for light appetizers. Through the efforts of Agrofirma Aelita, the variety is accessible to both home gardeners and commercial farms prioritizing early-season production. The stability of these traits is verified by the patent holder, OOO Agrofirma Aelita, ensuring varietal purity when purchasing original seeds.

In the current market, Nezhenka holds a solid position in the segment of varieties intended for home cultivation and local farm distribution, where consistency in yield and the visual quality of early greens are highly valued.
