Cabbage AUTUMN BEAUTY

Spectacular aesthetics for your garden

When common vegetable crops have already been harvested, "Osennyaya Krasavitsa" (Autumn Beauty) from the "Sedek" brand begins to reveal its true potential. This ornamental cabbage is a lifesaver for those looking to keep their garden vibrant well into late autumn. Unlike standard vegetable varieties, the focus here is strictly on visual appeal, with a resilience that can withstand the season's first serious frosts.

Appearance and Growing Tips

This variety, developed by S.V. Dubinin, I.N. Dubinina, and A.N. Lukyanenko, features an impressive color palette. The rosettes form tightly, and the leaves delight with unique transitions between shades: from deep blue-green to bright green, yellow-green, and intense purple. This makes it an excellent choice for complex landscape designs.

• Climate resilience: The plant handles light autumn chills effectively, maintaining its decorative shape for a long time.
• Soil and Care: To achieve the most vivid and saturated colors, ensure the crop is planted in nutrient-rich, well-drained soil and receives regular watering.
• Placement: It looks perfect in group plantings at the front of a flowerbed, as well as in pots or containers.

Working with this variety is straightforward: "Osennyaya Krasavitsa" is low-maintenance, requiring only standard care such as weeding, soil aeration, and protection against pests, which, incidentally, are just as common on ornamental cabbage as on traditional types. If you are looking for a way to liven up your plot during the "gray" season, this selection from "Sedek" is the perfect choice.
