KAZBEK lettuce is an Iceberg type variety with a medium-to-maturing period, which ranges from 47 to 65 days depending on growing conditions. The head of this variety is flat-round in shape, rich green in color, and reaches a mass of from 300 to 600 grams and more. Thanks to its dense structure and crisp texture, the lettuce is excellent for both fresh consumption and processing, including for the preparation of salad mixes.

One of the key features of the KAZBEK variety is its resistance to various adverse factors, such as edge burn, bolting, and Bremia (races Bl:1-16, 21, 23). This makes it a reliable choice for growing in various climatic conditions, especially during the spring and autumn periods. The variety performs well when planted in closed and open soil, as well as in regions with a moderate climate where extreme heat is not observed.

KAZBEK is recommended for early planting in spring and autumn, especially in the south from February to March and in August, as well as in the central region from March to mid-April.
