Lettuce FARITO

Farito is a medium-sized iceberg type salad intended for open-field cultivation during the hot summer season. It is characterized by slow growth and high stress tolerance, allowing it to be successfully cultivated under high-temperature conditions. Heads have an oval shape and dark green color with an attractive internal structure, making this variety especially appealing to consumers.

One of the key features of the Farito variety is its high resistance to bolting and internal necrosis, which significantly improves crop quality and reduces losses during cultivation. In addition, the variety has resistance to downy mildew and lettuce leaf miner, providing additional protection against common diseases and pests.

Farito is well suited for processing due to its structure: heads break down well when cut, which facilitates the use of salad in cooking and the food industry. The medium head size and its quality characteristics make this variety a versatile choice for summer cultivation, providing a stable and quality crop.
