Lettuce GRINALI

Grinali is an early-maturing baby-leaf lettuce variety intended for open-field cultivation. It features a rapidly growing, semi-upright rosette of leaves, 7 to 10 cm high and 10-12 cm in diameter. The lettuce leaves are bright green, voluminous, dense, and thick, with a smooth surface and wavy edges, giving them an attractive appearance and a pleasant slightly sweet taste. Leaf size varies from compact to medium, making the variety convenient for use in salad mixes, adding extra volume and richness.

The Grinali variety is distinguished by its high disease resistance, ensuring a stable yield and reducing the need for intensive plant protection. The marketable rosette mass ranges from 15 to 25 grams, with a yield reaching 0.5-1.2 kg per square meter, making this variety economically advantageous for cultivation in both personal subsidiary holdings and for commercial purposes. Thanks to its characteristics, Grinali lettuce is suitable for early harvest and use in fresh form.

This lettuce variety is particularly valued for its ease of cultivation and versatility of application. It is well-suited for forming a leaf rosette, which facilitates harvest collection and allows the lettuce to be used for various culinary purposes, including preparing fresh salads and salad mixes. The variety producer is Enza Zaden, known for its quality seed material and innovative developments in the field of vegetable growing.
