Lettuce PROTECCTIONIST

PROTECCTIONIST is an early variety of Iceberg lettuce developed by the French brand Vilmorin. It is intended for open-field cultivation and is distinguished by high resistance to downy mildew, ensuring reliable plant protection and a stable yield. The variety features greyish-green leaf color without anthocyanin pigmentation, giving the lettuce an attractive appearance.

The PROTECCTIONIST leaf head reaches a height of 22-26 cm and a diameter of up to 37 cm. The lettuce heads are large and heavy, weighing from 400 to 800 grams. The leaves are slightly ribbed, dense, and resistant to scorch, making this variety particularly valuable for growing in hot conditions. All plants exhibit uniformity, which facilitates harvest collection and improves its quality.

The vegetative period of the variety ranges from 45 to 60 days from seedling transplanting, allowing for an early summer harvest. High product output and parameter stability make PROTECCTIONIST an excellent choice for farmers and gardeners seeking effective and quality Iceberg lettuce production.
