Lettuce KORIAS

Korias is a high-quality iceberg hybrid designed for cultivation in both open and protected ground. It forms dense, round heads weighing between 600 and 800 grams with a crispy texture, ensuring excellent shelf life and maintaining product freshness for a long time. This variety is suitable for spring, summer, and autumn seasons, making it a versatile choice for various climatic conditions.

Korias is distinguished by its high resistance to bolting and a range of common diseases, including downy mildew (Bremia), which significantly eases care and increases yield. The lettuce leaves are dark green, dense, and wide, with a vertical rosette and flat veins, preventing them from curling even under extreme summer conditions. Thanks to these characteristics, the variety is ideal for both fresh consumption and packaging as whole plants or cut into salad mixes.

Korias lettuce is also well-adapted for mechanized harvesting and commercial cultivation, making it attractive for large agricultural enterprises. Its high resistance to bolting and ability to maintain market appearance during long-term storage ensure stable demand in the market. This variety is successfully used for producing fresh salads and packaging, combining quality, reliability, and ease of use.
