Cabbage Linda

Stable Broccoli Yield for Fresh Markets and Processing

Czech breeding by Moravoseed offers farmers a balanced broccoli variety, "Linda," which is optimized for relay cropping. The focus here is on maturity speed and marketability, allowing for efficient scheduling of agricultural operations.

Agrotechnics and Timeline

The maturation period from transplanting to technical ripeness is just 50–60 days. This makes "Linda" a suitable choice for both early spring rotations and subsequent summer plantings. The plant develops a neat, dome-shaped head in a deep green color, weighing between 0.2 and 0.5 kg.

Operational Use Cases

• Fresh Market: Compact heads of a standard size are highly sought after in retail. The dome-shaped head is convenient for packing into nets or trays, ensuring an aesthetic appearance and durability during transport.
• Industrial Processing: Due to the optimal density of the florets, this variety is in demand by companies specializing in blast freezing. The product retains its structure after thawing, which is critical for the HoReCa segment.

By choosing "Linda" seeds from Moravoseed, growers receive predictable results: uniform ripening, resilience against common vegetative stressors, and a market-ready product that sells well both in retail and the deep processing sector.
