The 'Urman' lemon is a remontant hybrid of Russian origin, created specifically for home cultivation. The tree reaches a height of about 2.8 m and has a compact, drooping crown of medium density. Shoots are arc-shaped, brown, and hairless, while leaves are of medium size – green, shiny, smooth with a serrated edge.
The fruits of the 'Urman' lemon are large, oval in shape, measuring approximately 135 × 85 mm. The skin is of medium thickness, rough and oily, colored golden-yellow with low peelability. The pulp is yellow, juicy, tart-sweet, containing about 4.3% sugar and 3.8% acid, as well as a significant amount of vitamin C (≈37 g/kg). The average fruit weight is 330 g, reaching a maximum of 750 g. Fruits ripen from mid-September to late April, maintaining freshness for up to 3.5 months.
'Urman' is distinguished by high resistance to diseases and pests, making it undemanding in care. The tree quickly adapts to protected soil and is suitable for cultivation both in open ground and in closed spaces. Thanks to year-round fruiting (twice a year) and an abundance of fragrant flowers, the 'Urman' lemon becomes not only a source of delicious fruits but also a decorative element for any garden or indoor space.
