The 'Sugar' jujube variety is an early, large-fruited, and exceptionally high-yielding type, particularly suitable for cultivation in southern regions of Ukraine. The tree reaches a height of 2.5–3 m, featuring round-oval leaves of bright green color with pointed tips. The fruits are oval, coffee-colored, very juicy – each weighs 5–7 g and has a dessert taste reminiscent of a date. Thanks to high yield, approximately 70 kg of fruits per plant is achieved.
This variety is distinguished not only by its delicious produce but also by a wide range of beneficial properties: regular consumption supports the immune system, strengthens the nervous and circulatory systems, has a diuretic and choleretic effect, and helps eliminate toxins. Fruits can be used in fresh form or for preparing jams, preserves, compotes, or marinades. Leaf infusions are applied as medicinal agents for respiratory diseases and reduced blood pressure, while bark infusions are used to strengthen the intestines.
To cultivate 'Sugar', a sunny, wind-free location and regular watering are required. The trees are frost-resistant down to -30 °C, making them suitable even for cold periods. Saplings are grafted one-year-old plants of 30–50 cm size, grown in a private nursery and packaged in hermetic packaging with root system treatment using a special solution, ensuring high survival rate. Customers are provided with a variety guarantee, an individual approach to orders, and free consultations from an agronomist regarding care and planting.
