Description FEODAL
Common hop 'Feodal' is a female variety bred in 2009 and included in the register of approved cultures in 2011. The plant is a vine up to six meters high, possessing decorative properties and resistance to unfavorable environmental conditions. The variety's cones have a fruit-and-berry shape, color ranges from green to yellow, and their aroma is persistent with a delicate hop note.

The variety is characterized by a high content of key components: bitter substances 23.7%, alpha-acids 4.5%, and tannins (polyphenols) 3.5%. The weight of 100 cones is 61.3 g. The vegetative period lasts 103 days; the plant is winter-hardy and resistant to root rot and pseudo-peronosporosis. Average raw material yield reaches 27.2 c/ha.

The main application of 'Feodal' is brewing. The high level of aromatic oils in the cones gives beer a characteristic aroma and bitter taste, making the variety in demand among producers of both light and dark varieties of the beverage. Due to resistance to aggressive growing conditions and intensive spring growth, 'Feodal' ensures a stable yield even in complex climatic conditions.
