MIHAILOVSKIY

The «MIHAILOVSKIY» hop variety belongs to the species Humulus lupulus L. and is included in the State Register of the Russian Federation, which confirms its quality and compliance with the requirements of the domestic market. The plant reaches a height of over six meters, has a cylindrical bush with brown stems adorned with red stripes in the upper tier. The leaves are light green, and the inflorescence density is moderate – about 4010 cones per stem. The vegetative period ranges from 104 to 110 days, which allows for planning sowing and harvesting dates taking into account the climatic features of the region.

The variety yield is consistently high: on average, 24.2 centners per hectare is achieved, which exceeds the standard indicator by approximately 3.5 c/ha. The alpha acid content in cones ranges from 2.6% to 4.8%, providing moderate bitterness and aroma in beer production. «MIHAILOVSKIY» hop is characterized by weak susceptibility to root rot and powdery mildew, which makes it resistant in various agroecological conditions.

For industrial use, the cones of this variety are usually dried and ground into granulated form. Granules preserve natural resins that ensure structural stability without the addition of chemical binders. Thanks to their compactness and hermetic vacuum packaging, they can be stored for three years while retaining their taste and aromatic properties, which makes them attractive to brewers seeking quality and reliable raw materials.
