Description Alfubel
Alfubel sweet corn is a medium-early simple hybrid with a maturity period corresponding to FAO 250. The plant is tall, reaching 240-250 cm in height, with ear attachment at 80-90 cm. The ear has a conical-cylindrical shape, 35-38 cm long, with a dense stalk and 14-16 rows of kernels, each row containing 38-40 tooth-shaped yellow kernels. The 1000-kernel weight is 280-320 g, indicating good potential for high yield. The hybrid exhibits accelerated standard development and positively responds to improved growing conditions. Agronomic characteristics of Alfubel corn include high resistance to lodging and stem breakage, good drought and disease resistance, as well as very high resistance to cold and pests. Recommended planting density varies by region: 50-60 thousand/ha in steppes, 60-70 thousand/ha in forest-steppe zones, and 80-85 thousand/ha in the Polissia region. Yield potential reaches 14-15 tons per hectare, confirmed by average yield data from various regions of Ukraine. Alfubel is intended for grain production and exhibits an intensive growth type. Genetically, it has the potential to form up to four ears per plant, contributing to high productivity. Due to its characteristics and adaptability to various climatic conditions, this hybrid is a reliable choice for agricultural production.
