AR 18102 K

The AR 18102 K hybrid sweet corn is a simple interline hybrid developed based on the best foreign selection samples. It is characterized by high yield and adaptability, allowing its cultivation in all climatic zones of Ukraine, including early planting dates. The hybrid features rapid early growth and high cold resistance, ensuring reliable plant development under various conditions.

The seeds have a 1000-seed weight of about 360 grams and belong to the cream-colored, dent-type kernel. The vegetation period is medium-length — approximately 110–115 days, which allows the hybrid to successfully fit into the regional agrotechnical cycles. Seed treatment includes fungicide protection and growth stimulants, which contribute to improved germination and plant resilience.

AR 18102 K has a strong stalk and robust root system, providing resistance to mechanical damage and pests such as the corn borer. The hybrid demonstrates high genetic yield potential with yields reaching 145–155 centners per hectare. The grain contains high starch content (70–72%) and protein (about 10%), making it valuable for various applications. Additionally, the hybrid is resistant to major corn diseases, including helminthosporiosis, blister rust, and fusarium, reducing the risk of yield losses.
