Maize Apollo

Stable yields in challenging farming conditions

The 'Apollon' maize hybrid by Agrosem is the choice of agronomists focused on predictable results within mid-early maturity windows. In the face of climate change, where soil moisture becomes a critical bottleneck, this hybrid demonstrates exceptional adaptability to environmental stress.

Agronomic profile and resilience

The primary operational challenge that 'Apollon' solves in crop rotation is the mitigation of losses caused by fungal diseases. Genetic resistance to Fusarium significantly reduces the need for frequent fungicide applications, protecting the grain's yield potential. With a vegetation period ranging from 90 to 110 days, it serves as a flexible tool for harvest scheduling—from early threshing to clear fields for winter crops, to maximizing high-quality grain yields during the main season.

Practical application on the farm

• Logistics optimization: The mid-early maturity allows farms to distribute machinery workload efficiently, often starting harvest ahead of competitors.
• Phytosanitary control: High resistance to Fusarium greatly simplifies product quality management during storage.
• Risk management: The versatility of this hybrid makes it suitable for both high-intensity farming and fields with less favorable soil and climatic conditions across Ukraine.

Agrosem's 'Apollon' is preferred for its balance between productivity and technical reliability. It is a stable solution for producers who prefer to minimize dependence on end-of-season weather variability and prioritize the purity of commercial grain, free from the risks of dangerous pathogens.
