• Under favorable moisture conditions and fertile soils, 65,000–70,000 plants/ha is optimal.
• Under moderate moisture conditions, sticking to a range of 55,000–65,000 plants/ha is recommended.
• On lower-potential soils or in high-risk zones, a density of 50,000–55,000 plants/ha is advised.
