Silveria is a decorative herbaceous plant up to 90 cm in height and width, which easily fits into landscape compositions of steppe and meadow gardens, as well as along the shores of water bodies. Leaves have a rich green color in summer, but change to copper-gold shades in autumn and winter, adding special warmth and an interesting contrast to the plant. In summer, long pink panicles appear, which over time change their tone to bronze, creating an effective change of colors.
Silveria is characterized by ease of care: the plant does not require a specific soil – moderately fertile and well-drained soil is sufficient. It prefers sunny places with partial shade, tolerates drought well, and can even grow by water bodies. After winter, it is recommended to remove dead leaves to "revitalize" the clump. Under harsher climatic conditions, the plant needs protection, as frost resistance is limited to -15 °C.
Silveria is also valued for its unpretentiousness and natural beauty, which makes it a popular choice for gardeners seeking minimal care. Due to its resistance to unfavorable conditions and decorative appearance, it is often used in landscape design as a hedge element or in combination with other grasses and shrubs.
