BLUE BREEZE

Lobelia 'Blue Breeze' is an annual herbaceous plant reaching just 10–12 cm in height, forming dense bushes with bright dark blue flowers and a white throat. Flowering lasts from mid-June to October, with each bush covered by numerous miniature buds, creating a spectacular effect.

The plant prefers sunny spots and moderately moist, fertile soils. Thanks to its compactness and rich color, lobelia is ideal for edging flower beds, borders, rockeries, balcony boxes, and even as a decorative element in vases or hanging baskets.

Propagation is done by sowing seeds. Seeds are slightly pressed into the soil without covering with earth; at a soil temperature of +18 °C, seedlings appear in 7–14 days. Seedlings are grown in trays, then transplanted into open ground at the end of May with a spacing of about 15 cm between plants. To improve branching, the tops of young plants can be pinched.

Lobelia 'Blue Breeze' does not require special care: it is not suitable for cutting, but with proper placement in a sunny spot and moderate watering, it will delight with its bright flowering throughout the season.
