Ammi (Ammi majus L.) seeds of the "Valentina" variety represent valuable medicinal raw material used in agriculture for growing aromatic plants. The plant is an annual herbaceous species reaching heights of 70–75 cm, characterized by high seed yield – from 0.6 to 0.7 t/ha. The seeds contain approximately 0.65% furanocoumarins, making them in demand in the pharmaceutical industry.
"Valentina" is distinguished by drought resistance and low disease incidence, as well as ecological plasticity. The duration of the vegetation period is 150–165 days, allowing for sowing planning considering the region's climatic conditions. Thanks to these properties, the plant is easily suited for mechanized cultivation and can be used as part of a sustainable agro-crop line.
Seeds of this variety are supplied by the manufacturer – FGBNU "All-Russian Research Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants". They are intended for further cultivation, ensuring a stable supply of raw material for the production of essential oils, tinctures, and other pharmaceutical products. As a result, we obtain a high-quality plant capable of meeting the requirements of both the agricultural sector and the pharmaceutical industry.
