Salvia Ogonek

Salvia 'Ogonek' – an annual plant reaching 15–30 cm in height with bright red spike-like inflorescences that catch the eye and create a lively accent in any garden ensemble. The flowering period lasts from June to October, ensuring a long-lasting decorative effect in flowerbeds, borders, mixed beds, and even in balcony boxes.

This variety is renowned for its ease of care: it prefers sunny spots, loose, fertile soil with good drainage. Drought resistance and low susceptibility to pests make it ideal for urban greening and private gardens. Regular watering during dry periods and moderate feeding with nitrogen fertilizers after planting maintain plant health and promote reblooming.

Salvia 'Ogonek' is also an excellent nectar source, attracting bees and other pollinators. Thanks to its compact growth, it does not shade its neighbors but rather enlivens the space with its bright coloration. This makes it an indispensable element both in decorative flowerbeds at schools and hospitals and in private gardens where reliability and the aesthetic appeal of summer plants are valued.
