Potato variety 'Fantasy' is a medium-early German variety distinguished by its universal use and high flavor qualities. The tubers are oval-shaped with an attractive smooth pink skin and white flesh, rich in vitamins, minerals, proteins, amino acids, and carotene. This variety is especially valued for retaining its color during boiling, making it an excellent choice for salads, as well as suitable for frying and baking. The starch content in the tubers is 18-19%, allowing the potato to be used for processing into potato products.
'Fantasy' is characterized by high yields, reaching up to 40 tons per hectare, and good adaptability to various climatic conditions in Ukraine, including the Polissia and Steppe zones. The variety is drought-resistant and exhibits high resistance to several diseases, such as potato cancer and potato nematode, as well as relatively resistant to late blight and ring rot. Thanks to these qualities, cultivating 'Fantasy' does not require significant time and resource investment.
Additionally, 'Fantasy' potato is characterized by excellent storage properties and high resistance to mechanical damage, ensuring long-distance transportation and maintaining its market appearance. This variety is suitable for cultivation both on private plots and on an industrial scale, thanks to its high marketability and attractive appearance.
