Anniversary Salut — an early-maturing, high-yielding variety of Japanese mustard spinach, distinguished by its unpretentious nature and adaptability to various growing conditions. The plant forms a rosette of strongly dissected pinnatifid leaves with a flat, light-green petiole without margins. The leaf blade has a wedge-shaped base and a pointed apex, with a smooth surface and thin pinnate venation of low density. The mass of one plant reaches about 0.75 kg, while the yield of leaves with petioles ranges from 3.9 to 6.7 kg per square meter depending on growing conditions. The leaves of this variety have a piquant spicy taste reminiscent of arugula, with a slight specific aroma and pleasant aftertaste, due to low mustard oil content. Due to these taste qualities, the cabbage is widely used for fresh consumption and is also suitable for processing — freezing, drying, and pickling. Microgreens of this variety are rich in biologically active substances, including vitamins A, C, group B, E, PP, and mineral elements, making them beneficial for the body. Salut Anniversary is recommended for growing both in open and protected ground with the possibility of multiple sowings during the season. Sowing for seedlings is carried out in early April, and seedling transplanting — at the end of May or early June according to a 50x30 cm scheme. The plant is semi-erect, of medium height, with good foliage and a minimal number of side rosettes. The variety is characterized by early maturity and rapid leaf regrowth after cutting, ensuring a stable and prolonged harvest.
