Sibirykovy is a technical variety of white grape with early-mid ripening period, characterized by large five-lobed leaves with a metallic luster and web-like pubescence on the underside. Bunches of this variety are of medium size, weighing 100-150 grams, weakly conical or cylindrical-conical, often with wings, and loose. Berries are oval, greenish-white, slightly yellowing at full maturity, with a thin, almost transparent skin covered with a waxy bloom. The flesh is juicy and melting, making this variety attractive for producing light table wines.
Sibirykovy is a Don native variety, widely used for making wines and blends. Wines from this grape are distinguished by a light greenish color and moderate acidity. Bushes are vigorous, with late shoot maturation, requiring multi-arm fan or long-arm training forms. The recommended planting scheme is 3 by 1.5 meters, with a load of 50-60 buds per bush and pruning to 10-12 buds. The variety's yield is 60-90 centners per hectare.
Despite high productivity and fruit quality, the variety has low winter hardiness and susceptibility to fungal diseases, which requires carrying out a full range of protective measures and winter covering. Sibirykovy is grown in various regions of Russia, including the Don Valley, Kuban, Kabardino-Balkaria, and Dagestan, and is suitable for different soil types and climatic conditions.
