Olymp

The Olym cabbage variety represents a late-maturing, high-yield white cabbage variety intended for long-term storage, fresh consumption, and pickling. The heads have a flat-round shape, are tightly closed, and are distinguished by a light green color with a white inner part. The weight of the heads ranges from 3 to 8 kg, while the stalk is of medium thickness, and the heads themselves are resistant to cracking, ensuring their high transportability and preservation during storage. The plant is compact, with outer leaves covered in a strong waxy coating, which additionally protects the cabbage and contributes to its frost hardiness.

The Olym variety is characterized by good adaptation to climatic conditions with low temperatures, allowing it to be cultivated in regions with a cold climate. The vegetative period from seedling planting is 110-115 days, corresponding to a late maturity time. Planting for seedlings is recommended in March-April, while transplanting to the soil is in April-May. The harvest is usually collected in September-October, allowing for a high-quality product for long-term storage.

Olym cabbage is resistant to major diseases and withstands frosts well, making it a reliable choice for farmers and gardeners. Thanks to the dense structure of the heads and resistance to cracking, the variety is ideal for pickling and processing, while maintaining its taste qualities and nutritional value. The producer of the variety is the company Semo from the Czech Republic, which guarantees high seed quality and harvest stability.
