Description Russian Winter
White cabbage 'Russian Winter' is a late-maturing hybrid that ripens 100-110 days after seedling transplanting. The plant forms a vertical rosette of leaves 75–80 cm in diameter, with a bluish-green color and a strong waxy coating. Heads have an oval-flat shape, weigh from 2.5 to 3.5 kg, and have a thick stalk. The internal structure of the cabbage is dense, juicy, whitish-cream in color, and has an excellent taste.

This hybrid is distinguished by high resistance to temperature fluctuations and head cracking, making it suitable for long-term storage. The universal purpose of the variety allows it to be used for various culinary purposes. 'Russian Winter' is well adapted to different growing conditions and is suitable for seedling planting in open ground.

Cabbage prefers loamy soils rich in organic substances, which contributes to high yield and maximum output of marketable product. The plant is practically not affected by diseases and pests, but may be sensitive to clubroot. Thanks to its unpretentiousness and reliability, the 'Russian Winter' variety is an excellent choice for growing in various climatic conditions.
