Cabbage Multima F1 — a medium-maturing hybrid of head cabbage, developed by breeders of the Dutch company Rijk Zwaan. This variety features a flat-round head shape and attractive green leaves with a waxy coating. Heads are dense, uniform, weighing from 2.5 to 6 kg, ensuring high yield. The vegetation period ranges from 85 to 100 days, allowing cultivation in various climatic conditions, especially in southern regions of Ukraine.
Multima F1 adapts well to different soil types and grows successfully both in open ground and under plastic or agrofiber cover. The hybrid shows resistance to fusarium and is practically unaffected by thrips, significantly reducing the risk of crop loss. Additionally, the variety is not prone to cracking, improving product quality and facilitating transportation.
Cabbage Multima F1 has excellent storability — storage duration reaches up to 4 months without loss of market appearance. Thanks to its dense structure and flavor qualities, this hybrid is especially valued for pickling. The recommended planting density is 30 to 45 thousand plants per hectare, promoting optimal growth and maximum yield.
