Panfilivska is an agricultural variety developed at the Panfilivska Research Station within the National Institute of Agriculture. The variety was created taking into account the specific conditions of drained organogenic soils of the Left-Bank Forest-Steppe and possesses high resistance to changes in climatic parameters, ensuring stable productivity even at elevated moisture levels. During development, the hydrothermal regime of the soil, drainage efficiency, and optimal moisture norms were considered, which allows for minimizing water and energy expenditures for cultivation.
The Panfilivska variety is noted for its high yield, good resistance to weeds and diseases, as well as a good taste and technological profile. It is suitable for the production of grain, silage, and green feed, making it a universal tool in agricultural practice. Moreover, the variety was used as a model material for the development of new agrotechnological methods and farming systems that enhance the efficiency of cultivation on peat soils.
Panfilivska easily adapts to various types of soils thanks to its flexibility in the moisture and drainage regime.
