Panfilivska 2 – is a variety of fodder beet developed at the Panfilivska research station in Ukraine. They belong to the triticine and rod-shaped groups and are characterized by high productivity, resistance to unfavorable soil conditions, and the ability to quickly accumulate root mass.
The variety was created within scientific research on optimizing agrotechnology for growing agricultural crops on drained peat soils of the Forest-Steppe zone. During experiments, the most effective irrigation regimes, fertilizer-water regimes, and pest and disease control methods were identified, which allows obtaining stable yields even in complex climatic conditions.
Panfilivska 2 is used as a fodder crop for livestock. It has a high protein and energy content, as well as a low level of toxins, making it safe and useful for animal husbandry. The variety easily adapts to different soil types, including mineral and peat soils, and is suitable for both monoculture and combined agricultural practices. Growing this variety contributes to improving soil structure and reducing erosion, which is important for managing drained areas.
Panfilivska 2 seeds are produced under environmentally friendly conditions on research plots of the station. Each packet contains high-quality seeds that meet certification requirements and guarantee high germination and uniform growth of vegetation. This makes it a popular choice among farmers looking for reliable varieties to increase the productivity of their farms.
