Willow LYNNEA

Swedish breeding for high-end landscape solutions

The 'Linnea' variety from Lantmannen SW Seed AB represents a significant achievement in Swedish plant breeding, specifically engineered to excel in demanding climatic conditions. This decorative willow cultivar is optimized for professional landscape architecture, focusing on both aesthetic appeal and physical resilience of the stems.

Technical specifications and morphology

• Biological performance: The variety is developed to ensure high foliage density, which is essential for creating robust and uniform privacy screens or hedgerows.
• Growth habit: The plant exhibits excellent branching characteristics, allowing for precise shaping without the common issue of lower-tier thinning.
• Resilience: Bred in Sweden, 'Linnea' possesses high resistance to temperature fluctuations, ensuring consistent survival rates across diverse environmental zones.

Practical application in landscape design

For landscape professionals, 'Linnea' provides a predictable growth pattern. Unlike standard species, this cultivar offers controlled development, reducing the frequency and intensity of maintenance required to keep the hedge in a neat, geometric form. The engineering behind Lantmannen SW Seed AB's selection focuses on maintaining the structural integrity of the plant throughout the growing season.

By choosing 'Linnea', designers utilize a reliable tool for spatial organization. The balance between the plant's structural strength and its ornamental value makes it an ideal choice for projects where both beauty and durability are mandatory requirements. It remains a top-tier choice for creating dense, attractive, and long-lasting green barriers.
