Iris PINK BORDER IRIS

Breeding and Origin

The 'Rozoviy Bordurniy' (Pink Border) iris is a result of extensive selection work by the 'Taitsy' Agro-Industrial Society and researchers at the Federal Scientific Center for Vegetable Production. As an established variety in the domestic market, it reflects a successful attempt to combine aesthetic appeal with regional climate resilience. Registered under index 531, this variety serves as a testament to rigorous breeding standards and consistent performance.

Agrotechnical Profile and Usage

This medium-height iris reaches 70–90 cm, making it a versatile choice for structured landscape design. Its signature pink petals offer a sophisticated visual palette, highly valued for both monochromatic displays and high-contrast garden beds. With a blooming duration of 10–15 days, it is specifically optimized for:

• Commercial and amateur floral arrangements (cut flowers);
• Ornamental landscaping for parks and private gardens;
• Creating distinct border lines and focal points in garden beds.

The height of the flower stalk allows this iris to fit seamlessly into tiered planting schemes, providing depth and grace without overpowering smaller perennials.

Market Position

In the current horticultural market, 'Rozoviy Bordurniy' stands out as a dependable source of planting material. Unlike many modern imports that require complex acclimatization, this variety offers predictability and stability in diverse growing conditions. Its status as a registered breeding achievement ensures that the variety maintains its core characteristics across generations, making it a staple choice for both professional landscapers and garden enthusiasts looking for reliable, long-lasting floral beauty.
