Iris "Vivat Rodionenko" is a six-petaled variety featuring a vivid light-purple flower adorned with blue spots and veins. The flower diameter ranges from 11–12 cm, with round petals: upper petals are 5–7.5 cm wide, and lower petals are 7–8.3 cm wide. Typically, two flowers are present in an inflorescence, and the plant reaches a height of 80–90 cm.
The variety is distinguished by high resistance to adverse weather conditions, diseases, and pests, making it suitable for a wide range of climate zones. It is winter-hardy and has moderate heat tolerance, allowing successful cultivation in both temperate and warmer regions.
Blooming begins from July 4th and lasts approximately 12–14 days (flowering period – about 20 days). Leaves are dark green, stems are strong and upright. Due to its decorative appeal and reliability, "Vivat Rodionenko" is often used in the greening of gardens, park ensembles, and for creating cut flower arrangements.
