Iris IRENUM 'POKLON EREMENKO'

Garden Elegance: The «Poklon Eremenko» Iris

The «Poklon Eremenko» iris holds a special place in the collections of perennial enthusiasts, blending structural rigor with a sophisticated color palette. Presented by FANCA, this variety relies on the European breeding school—with originators based in France (Av Du Capitaine N Tchorere 80270 Airaines)—ensuring high-quality propagation and adherence to strict varietal standards. This plant serves as a prime example of how classic selection transforms a garden into a stylish landscape statement.

Visual Traits and Practical Application

The flower is characterized by a distinct, high-contrast palette, where petals meld the purity of white with the depth of violet hues. With a stem height ranging from 70 to 90 cm, this variety is an ideal choice for the «middle tier» of mixed borders. The functional attributes of «Poklon Eremenko» are highly regarded by landscape professionals:

• Decorative Landscaping: The variety maintains a robust bush structure, resisting collapse during rainfall and ensuring a tidy appearance in mass plantings.
• Cut Flowers: The dense texture of the petals allows the iris to maintain freshness in floral arrangements for a considerable duration.
• Blooming Period: The plant delights gardeners with an active bloom phase lasting 15–20 days, a notable benchmark for irises in this category.

The reputation of this variety is built on consistency. It is the preferred choice for those who value predictable results; thanks to the heritage of its seed material, «Poklon Eremenko» demonstrates excellent adaptability to various climates while retaining the graceful charm of its European progenitor.
