IRENUM 'POKLON EREMENKO'

Iris 'Poklon Eremenko' is a tall bearded iris reaching about 80 cm in height, distinguished by its bright and durable flower coloration. The outer petals (periphery) have a white shade with pale lilac veins or blue streaks and spots, while the inner petals are purple with a blurred white border. The flower reaches a diameter of 11–14 cm and a height of about 6 cm, with lower petals up to 9.5 cm wide creating an impressive voluminous look. The style and its crests remain white with a blue border along the edge, while the signal is yellow, highlighting the contrast of the composition.

The variety is resistant to adverse weather conditions, diseases, and pests, as well as highly winter-hardy. It prefers rich, heavy, acidic, and fertile soils capable of retaining moisture and nutrients. Thanks to such adaptability, it can be grown both in open ground and in containers or water bodies with wintering in a non-freezing room.

'Poklon Eremenko' is perfect for decorating water features, alpine slides, mixed borders, as well as for cut flowers and forcing in forest-steppe zones. Its prolonged flowering period of about 18 days, starting from mid-July, makes it a popular choice among gardeners wishing to add bright accents to the landscape.
