Iris EXCENT

A Vibrant Palette for Landscape Projects

The 'Exent' iris, developed by the Federal Research Center for Horticulture, is a variety designed for professional landscaping and commercial flower production. It is highly valued for its stable color profile, featuring rich yellow, red, and pink hues. With a height of 70–90 cm, it is an excellent choice for the middle or back rows of garden beds that require a distinct vertical structure.

Practical Applications and Scenarios

• Commercial Cut Flowers: The variety shows high marketability for floral arrangements. Its 15-20 day flowering period allows growers to effectively manage harvest schedules for floral retail, ensuring optimal freshness during transport.
• Landscape Design: Due to its height, 'Exent' is effectively used in mass plantings to create vivid visual focal points in parks and public green spaces. The plant maintains its structure well and typically does not require extra support when standard cultivation practices are followed.
• Private Gardens: This iris is a staple for tiered flower beds, offering growers predictable results in terms of growth cycle and height.

When planting 'Exent,' it is crucial to select open, sunny sites to ensure maximum intensity of petal coloration. The stability of its development has been verified by the originator, minimizing risks during introduction into various soil and climatic zones. With proper irrigation and timely fertilization, the variety reaches its full potential, providing a long-lasting and reliable bloom.
