Tulip Capri Striped

Elegance in the Triumph Style: Capri Striped Genetics

Capri Striped holds a firm position in the Triumph tulip segment. Breeders developed this hybrid in response to the market's demand for high-contrast, memorable varieties with a balanced stem height. Its signature feature is a striking bicolored pattern where a white background blends harmoniously with pink accents, creating a highly recognizable visual profile.

Agronomic Potential and Resilience

Unlike many decorative varieties that require excessive maintenance, Capri Striped demonstrates notable resistance to pathogens that frequently affect bulbous plants in both greenhouse and open-field conditions. Its genetic makeup includes built-in protection against:

• Verticillium wilt;
• Fusarium wilt;
• Tomato mosaic virus;
• Cladosporiosis.

These parameters make the hybrid a reliable choice for professional flower growers aiming to minimize losses during industrial forcing cycles.

Market Position

As a mid-season flowering variety, this hybrid allows for efficient production scheduling leading up to major spring events. The plant's average height provides ease of harvesting and transport, while the tight, dense bloom maintains its marketability for a long period in a vase. The consistency of its characteristics and disease resistance have made Capri Striped a sought-after solution for both floral arrangements and landscape design, where both aesthetics and plant health are paramount.
