Iris Cap Rayce

Operations and Cultivation Efficiency

The 'Cap Race' iris is a professional-grade cultivar designed for high-yield cut flower production and landscape design. Being a Ukrainian-adapted cultivar, it thrives in local climates, minimizing the need for specialized climate control or intensive intervention.

Operational Performance and Maintenance

• Cut Flower Quality: The stem structure is engineered for durability, allowing for efficient harvesting and handling. Post-harvest, these irises exhibit excellent vase life, which is a critical factor for maintaining profitability during distribution and retail sales.
• Landscaping Value: With its striking deep blue petals, 'Cap Race' is a premium choice for decorative greening. It is relatively low-maintenance, requiring only standard hydration and fertilization cycles to ensure a robust bloom.
• Resilience: The cultivar demonstrates impressive recovery capabilities following adverse weather conditions. Its structural stability simplifies weeding and pest management, effectively reducing operational labor costs.

To maximize production output, we recommend an planting density that promotes adequate airflow and light penetration. This proactive management strategy significantly reduces the risk of fungal outbreaks, ensuring that the majority of your harvest meets high-market standards.
