Sierra Sky

Iris «Sierra Sky» – a large-headed Siberian variety from the Tall Bearded group, distinguished by its bright blue flowers with white brushstroke spots. Bud diameter reaches 12–14 cm, while plant height ranges from 75 to 100 cm, making it a noticeable element in garden compositions.

The plant prefers sunny locations and moderately moist soil with good drainage. It does not require lime and can grow in slightly acidic soil. Care for «Sierra Sky» is simple: after frosts, leaves are cut down to 15 cm, and fertilization is conducted only during the flowering period. Thanks to its disease resistance and frost hardiness (zones 3–4), this iris can serve as a garden decoration for decades.
