Description BORDER IRIS BLUE
Border Iris Blue is a perennial herbaceous plant that reaches a height of 40 to 100 centimeters and a width of up to 150 centimeters. Its characteristic long, slightly pointed leaves create an impressive texture, while large flowers in shades of blue and white add brightness and elegance to the garden. Blooming occurs from May to June, when the first petals gradually open, filling the space with a delicate aroma and vivid color.

To successfully grow Border Iris Blue, ensure it receives sunlight and well-drained soil. The plant prefers nutrient-rich, slightly moist substrates but does not tolerate waterlogging; therefore, if waterlogging occurs, transplant to a more loose mixture. Rhizomes are planted from April to May at soil level or slightly below, avoiding mulching so roots can breathe freely. Regular early spring fertilization and dividing plants after flowering contribute to strengthening health and increasing yield.

Border Iris Blue is widely used in landscape design: it is often placed along paths, borders, in flower beds, or as part of living hedges. Due to its resistance to creeping rhizomes and ability to form dense clumps, the plant easily forms decorative masses, creating an impressive contrast with surrounding vegetation. This makes it an ideal choice for those who want to add bright accents to the garden while simultaneously ensuring drought resistance and poor soil tolerance.
