The Iris "Victoria Falls" is a tall bearded variety reaching heights from 90 to 120 cm (averaging about 100 cm). The flower features a rich marine blue hue transitioning to a lighter sky blue at the petal edges. The falls display a white mottled marking, while the beard is pure white with a barely noticeable yellowish nuance.
This variety has a rather long flowering period: from early to late summer (June-July). Typically, 2 to 7 large buds with a diameter of 13–15 cm grow on one scape, making the plant particularly attractive in garden compositions. The petals are ruffled, creating an effective texture.
"Victoria Falls" prefers sunny locations and grows well in USDA zones 3 to 8. This perennial rhizomatous plant has linear or sword-shaped leaves that emerge directly from the rhizome. Thanks to its bright coloration and large flowers, it is easily used as an accent element in landscape design.
